Digital health refers to the use of technology to support health care. Think anything from the Apple Watch or Fitbit on your wrist, to the electronic medical record (EMR) your health care provider uses, or to being able to book a bloodwork or mammogram appointment online.

The Department of Health and Wellness and Health PEI have developed a five-year Digital Health Strategy to advance the availability and use of health care technology and resources.
